Prime Location Munich:
Fast and Faster – C&A

This deal is a perfect example of how quickly and efficiently great results can be achieved. We are looking at the former Sport Scheck property in Munich’s prime location Neuhauser Str. 19-21. It took  only 8 weeks from the initial site inspection to the signature of the contract. The process continued seamlessly after the deal was sealed: the owner, Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate, managed the construction works, while the new tenant, C&A, pursued their interior fit-out. Tomorrow, will mark the official opening. It is rare to see a project of this scale—nearly 6,000 square metres of retail space—come to life in such a short time. This was made possible by the exceptional commitment and determination demonstrated by both parties. Congratulations for this incredible achievement on both sides. We extend our gratitude to everyone involved for allowing us to play a part in this remarkable journey. We are thrilled to share the first impressions from today’s pre-opening celebration and wish C&A every success for the future.

Dortmund: C&A secures prime location

The popular fashion chain C&A is set to open a new store in the heart of Dortmund next year. A spacious sales area of 4,000 square metres is being developed at Westenhellweg 39-41, offering customers a fresh, modern shopping experience from autumn 2025.

Extensive refurbishment works are currently underway, carried out by the property’s owner. The space is expected to be handed over to C&A in summer 2025, allowing the company to begin final preparations for the grand opening. The new store will feature a contemporary concept and offer a wide range of fashion for the whole family.

Zalando opens new store in Freiburg

The online fashion giant Zalando continues its expansion into brick-and-mortar retail by opening a new store in the heart of Freiburg. Located at Kaiser-Joseph-Straße 198-200, one of the city’s prime shopping destinations, Zalando has leased approximately 2,000 sqm of space.

Following Esprit’s departure, the premises will undergo extensive modernisation. The renovation, which includes a complete redesign of the retail space, is set to begin later this year. While an exact opening date has yet to be confirmed, the store is expected to launch in spring 2025.

SNIPES Opens Flagship in Würzburg

SNIPES has secured a prominent corner space of just over 1,000 sqm on Theaterstraße 2 in Würzburg, which they have already taken over. The previous tenant was Zeitzeichen, who had to close the space due to bankruptcy. Construction has already begun, so that the opening party will take place in late summer.

Unisport opens its first store in Germany

It started with football shirts in 1995… today, Unisport offers shirts from every corner of the world, a wide selection of football boots, and everything else related to football equipment. Unisport A/S is now one of the leading football retailers in Europe. In addition to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Paris, Unisport has now opened a new branch in Munich’s prime location, Neuhauser Straße 5, marking its first presence in Germany. The space, formerly used by H&M Woman, spans three floors and covers a total of approximately 866 sqm.

Prime location Stuttgart: Salamander shines in new splendor

Who doesn’t remember from their childhood days: Lurchi – still the trademark for Salamander children’s shoes today. The company has a long-standing tradition, with its roots dating back to 1885 when shoemaker Jakob Sigle, who later built Germany’s largest shoe factory in Kornwestheim, founded it. Salamander has since grown into a global corporation, distributing high-quality leather products. However, due to construction work, Salamander had to close its previous store at Königstraße 1b and moved to a prominent corner location at Königstraße 6 with nearly 400 m². The opening has already taken place, and we wish them continued great sales!

Benvenuto, Venchi!

Now, it’s officially: Venchi is going to open its first German store in Munich’s prime location this summer! The renowned producer of the finest Italian chocolate and ice cream, founded in Turin in 1878, leased a nearly 100 sqm retail space at Marienplatz 17, previously occupied by Yves Rocher. Venchi, with more than 180 stores worldwide, enchants customers with its magical atmosphere, offering an unique, authentic Italian taste experience of freshly made gelato and chocolate.

The handover of the space has already taken place, and Venchi is planning a grand opening of its first monostore in Germany in July. Until now, Venchi has been represented with a shop-in-shop at Eataly in Munich, and its chocolate is already available in several select department stores, such as KaDeWe.

More new locations are already in planning to ensure that customers across Germany will soon be able to enjoy this unique delight!

BIG, BIGGER, BERSHKA

There’s a shake-up coming, ;) Bershka is opening an outlet this May in one of Frankfurt’s most legendary streets. The new store, which will probably be the largest of its kind in Europe, will be moving into the property formerly occupied by Galeria/Karstadt at Zeil 90-92. Conversion and extension works are already underway on the ground floor, which covers an area of over 4,000 square metres. We are delighted that Bershka will move in, bringing loads of appeal and life back to this prime location, and we hope their business is always brisk.

In late summer, Zalando is opening a new outlet of around 2,000 square metres in a prime Dresden location. The store will be located at Prager Straße 8, directly opposite Centrum Galerie. Sited next to Douglas and Deutsche Telekom, the retail space is already being extended and converted accordingly.
