If you do not wish to provide us with the further information in such a case, there will be no direct adverse legal consequences. In individual cases, however, failure to provide the requested information may make it difficult or impossible to process your enquiry.
The processing is carried out by means of (potential) contract initiation as a pre-contractual measure. If you make use of our following specific services, you will receive a separate privacy policy informing you about the further processing of your data.
3.3 Consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, point a, of the GDPR)
Depending on how you set your cookie settings and preferences, we may also process personal data based on your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. Within Storescouts, access to your data is granted to the people who require it in order to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations. The service providers and vicarious agents we use may also receive data for these purposes. We have obliged them to maintain confidentiality.
5. Data transfer to third countries
Storescouts does not transfer data to countries outside of the EU or the EEA (so-called third countries).
If data is transferred to a third country by third-party providers used by us, you can find further information on this in our Cookie Policy or the respective privacy policy of the third-party provider.
6. Duration of storage
We process and store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations. Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose or legal basis for storage no longer applies.
Data may be stored beyond the period required for the respective purpose in the event of a(n) (imminent) legal dispute with you or other legal proceedings or if storage is provided for by statutory regulations to which we as the controller are subject (e.g. Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB), Section 147 of the Fiscal Code of Germany (AO)). If the retention period prescribed by law expires, the personal data will be blocked or deleted unless further storage by us is necessary and there is a legal basis for doing so.

Every data subject has the right of access pursuant to Article 15 of the GDPR, the right to rectification pursuant to Article 16 of the GDPR, the right to erasure pursuant to Article 17 of the GDPR, the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 of the GDPR, the right to object pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR and the right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 of the GDPR. The restrictions set out in Sections 34 and 35 of the BDSG apply to the right of access and the right to erasure.
